Job Description

Frogmore Junior School is seeking a trainee teacher to work with the 5-11 age range on the fee-funded training route. Are you a passionate graduate based in or near Surrey and ready to begin your teaching career at Frogmore Junior School? Could this be you? About Frogmore Junior School We consider our school to be one where children are keen and motivated to reach their full potential. The children are at the centre of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy and confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future. Through our ambitious curriculum and caring ethos, we ensure that learning is a rewarding, enjoyable experience where children are proud of their accomplishments. We strive for the very best, creating excellent teaching by incorporating the best ideas from around the world into highly effective teaching approaches. This will improve resilience and a thirst for learning that will help to develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. In the recent Ofsted inspection, Inspectors recognized us as “a happy, inclusive school. Warm relationships permeate all aspects of school life. Pupils feel safe and know that staff always listen to them. Their voice matters.” When reflecting on curriculum and teaching, the report notes “the school has high aspirations that all pupils will succeed and play a full part in school life. It identifies and considers pupils’ additional needs effectively. Teachers write precise and useful targets for pupils with SEND. They adapt learning effectively when needed. Pupils with SEND are flourishing and learning well.” (Ofsted, 2024) GLF Teacher Training works with a range of schools across all phases, including Early Years, Primary, and Secondary, across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Croydon.
