Learning Support Assistant

Are you passionate about helping young people thrive? Would you like to gain valuable experience before starting a career in teaching, social care, youth work or another profession where you can make a real difference? We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our successful secondary school for a one-year position. This is much more than a classroom role. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with young people, support their learning and wellbeing, and help them overcome challenges and achieve their potential. You don’t need previous experience of working in a school. We are looking for someone who is patient, approachable, reliable and genuinely interested in helping young people. The right person will be supported by experienced colleagues and will gain an invaluable insight into working with young people in a busy secondary school.
