Job Title: Mid-day Assistant Location: Gretton Primary Academy Hours per week / Weeks per year: 5 hours per week, 39 weeks (term time, plus training days) About Beanfield Primary School and the Mid-day Assistant role Are you looking for a rewarding role working with children, working Monday to Friday during term time and during school hours? The role will involve: Supervising children in the dining hall and playground Encouraging positive behaviour, good manners and independence Helping children during lunchtime when needed Encouraging children to take part in positive and enjoyable play activities Supporting the safe and orderly movement of children around school Dealing with minor incidents and reporting any concerns appropriately Working closely with other members of the midday and school team We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, approachable and confident with children. You should be able to work well as part of a team, use your initiative and remain calm and positive in a busy environment.
