Job Description

Permanent contract to start as soon as possible. Grade 14, points 4-6, current starting salary £26,016 FTE per annum, actual starting salary £14,524 per annum (£13.48 per hour). 6 hours per day, 08:30-15:10, less a 40 minute break, across 4 days, to include Friday. Paid at 24.5 hours per week to include fortnightly 1 hour Monday training session 15:15 to 16:15 38.4 working weeks (term time plus 2 days, pro rata). As Teaching Assistant your role will be to support learning with individuals and groups of students. You will be part of our SEND, lead by the SENDCo and supported by the Assistant SENDCo. Candidates will need to demonstrate: • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team. • Ability to supervise the work of individuals and groups of students. • A passion for working with students with additional needs. • Ability to carry out administrative tasks to support the SEND team in the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
