SRB Teaching Assistant Scale E9 - E11 £27,274 - £29,071 per annum pro-rata Actual Salary £20,514 - £21,866 gross per annum 32.5 hours per week 8.30am - 3.30pm Term time plus one week Permanent We have a ten place SRB unit, for pupils on the autistic spectrum. Our goal is to support them to be able to take part in mainstream classes as much as possible. We need a passionate and determined Teaching Assistant to work with our wonderful pupils in our Autism SRB. You will: Be a kind, caring person, who knows that children learn best in an inclusive environment. Have experience in working with children with different learning needs, particularly experience of working with children on the autistic spectrum, ADHD and social and emotional challenges. Be flexible and adaptable. Have experience of how to use creative and innovative strategies to engage children in school life and learning. Have patience and resilience when dealing with children who demonstrate challenging behaviours. Have excellent communication skills. Be able to work individually and as part of a team.
