Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a truly outstanding Executive Assistant to become the right hand to a highly successful international entrepreneur and investor, supporting him across an incredibly fast-paced and varied global life. This is an EA role for someone who absolutely loves what they do. Our client is not looking for someone who simply manages a diary and books travel. He wants an EA who can walk into any room on his behalf, immediately understand the dynamics at play and build relationships with everyone from fellow EAs and household teams through to investors, advisers and internationally prominent individuals. The Principal divides his time predominantly between London, Dubai and Hong Kong, alongside significant international travel, and his schedule can change at extremely short notice. You might be coordinating meetings across several continents one day and solving an unexpected international problem the next. There is very little routine, and that is exactly what should make the opportunity exciting to the right person. You will work extremely closely with the Principal's Chief of Staff and Private PA, but this is intentionally a horizontal structure. You will report directly to the Principal and be trusted to take complete ownership of your own remit. The successful candidate will be polished and sophisticated but equally practical, grounded and completely unflappable. You need to understand how to present yourself appropriately in very different environments, command respect without ego and instinctively know when to speak, when to push and when to step back. The Principal is extremely generous with people who perform well and wants to create an environment where his team have the resources they need to deliver properly. In return, expectations are high. Problems should arrive with solutions, excuses are not particularly useful and you should take genuine pride in ensuring the Principal's life becomes easier This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for an ambitious career EA who wants exposure to a truly international world and the chance to become an integral part of a Principal's professional and personal life over the long term. DUTIES TO INCLUDE: Acting as a trusted extension of the Principal across his international business and private life Taking complete ownership of an exceptionally complex, fast-moving diary and schedule Managing high-volume communications and ensuring the Principal's attention remains focused on the most important priorities Coordinating complex international travel across multiple time zones, often at very short notice Managing private aviation requirements and liaising closely with the third-party team responsible for the Principal's jet Building trusted relationships with investors, advisers, government contacts, senior executives and their respective EAs Developing an exceptional network of international contacts and suppliers and knowing who to call when something unusual needs to happen Working closely with the Chief of Staff and Private PA to ensure seamless coordination across the Principal's life Understanding the Principal's family commitments and developing trusted relationships with his wider family and household Preparing the Principal thoroughly for meetings, engagements, travel and events Anticipating potential issues and resolving them independently wherever possible Coordinating events, meetings, speaking engagements and other high-profile commitments Handling highly sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion Managing changing priorities calmly and confidently, including last-minute international requirements Helping to establish systems and processes as the wider private office grows Supporting and eventually helping to manage additional team members, potentially including a dedicated Travel Coordinator Remaining responsive and flexible around the demands of an international Principal ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Significant experience supporting a Founder, CEO, entrepreneur, UHNW Principal or similarly demanding individual A genuine passion for the Executive Assistant profession and desire to become a true right hand Exceptional international diary and travel management experience Outstanding relationship-building skills and confidence dealing with exceptionally senior individuals Naturally tenacious, resourceful and solutions-focused Highly polished with excellent judgement and the ability to adapt appropriately to different environments Exceptional emotional intelligence and an instinctive ability to read people and situations Comfortable taking ownership without waiting for detailed instructions Resilient and able to operate calmly within an extremely fast-moving environment Extremely discreet and comfortable handling highly confidential personal and commercial information A practical, hands-on mentality and willingness to do whatever is reasonably required to get the job done Experience with private aviation and managing je
