Recently graduated and looking to kickstart your career? This position offers hands-on experience and insights into the digital publishing industry as well as training across marketing, sales, production and customer support departments.
Exact Editions is seeking a highly ambitious and organised graduate with a keen eye for detail, who will gain invaluable experience working across multiple teams in a technology company operating within the publishing industry.
The Digital Publishing Intern will be trained up to work within the support, marketing, sales and production teams providing customers with support assistance, processing magazine issues and archives, and onboarding new titles.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for updating social media channels and the Exact Editions website, assisting with press launches of new titles and products as well as helping out with research tasks and coming up with new ideas to further market Exact Editions’ services.
The key focus of the role will include, but not be limited to:
- Working with our internal content management software to review PDF files of magazine issues, organise uploads and oversee publication of issues.
- Working with the support team providing telephone and email assistance to Exact Editions customers.
- Assisting in the production process of creating digital magazine archives for existing clients as well as new publishers.
- Creating digital media marketing material (editorial, graphics, video) for marketing purposes and supporting PR campaigns when needed.
- Creating and sending out weekly institutional marketing mailers.
- Conducting research for and improving the marketing, sales and content acquisition databases.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and confident when speaking on the 'phone.
- A familiarity working with Google Drive and Google Docs.
- A strong interest in technology and in seeking out solutions to technical-related problems.
- Numerical skills and the ability to problem-solve.
- Some experience in using Acrobat would be advantageous but not essential.
- Educated to degree level with the equivalent of a 2.1.
- Have the ability to work in the UK on a long-term basis.
- Be able to work at least three days a week in our plush office based in Blackfriars.
