Job Description

Job Title: Fire and Security Installation Engineer Location: Oxford Rate: £220 per day Are you a Fire and Security Installation Engineer based in Oxford looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire detection and alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites, ensuring all works are completed to the required standards and specifications. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers. Responsibilities: * Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installation of fire alarm panels, including Morley systems, across a range of sites. * Install fire detection devices including Apollo smoke heads and associated ancillaries. * Read and work from technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate installation. * Ensure all installation work is completed in line with BS5839 standards and site requirements. * Liaise with site managers and other trades to coordinate works and maintain programme. * Complete accurate site documentation and handover records upon completion of works. Experience and Certifications required: * Proven experience as a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, with a strong background in 1st and 2nd fix works. * Demonstrable experience working with Morley fire alarm panels and Apollo detection devices. * Ability to work independently on site and manage workload effectively. * Full UK driving licence. * ECS Card and DBS Check required. * IPAF licence required. * FIA or BAFE qualification (desirable).
