SPORTS CENTRE AND LETTINGS SUPERVISOR - GRADE 4 - 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Are you passionate about sport, community engagement and delivering outstanding customer service? Forge Valley School, part of Inova Multi Academy Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Sports Centre and Lettings Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of our Community Sports Centre and school lettings provision across both Forge Valley School and Tapton School. Rated Good by Ofsted, Forge Valley School is an ambitious and oversubscribed 11-18 academy serving over 1,500 pupils. About the Role Working closely with the Sports Development Manager, you will play a key role in the operational delivery and continued growth of our community sports and lettings facilities. Responsibilities include supervising facility operations, managing bookings and customer enquiries, supporting community engagement initiatives, supervising recreation staff and ensuring the highest standards of customer service, health and safety, and operational excellence. This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone with experience in sport, leisure, community facilities, customer service or venue management who is keen to help develop opportunities for participation, income generation and community partnerships. The role involves a flexible working pattern including evenings and weekends. A sample 4 week working pattern rota is; Week 1: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sun Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun Week 3: Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun Week 4: Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sa This is predominantly evening and weekend working and requires flexibility based on demand. We Are Looking for Someone Who: Has experience working within a sports centre, leisure facility, lettings environment or customer-focused setting. Has excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills. Can build positive relationships with customers, sports clubs, community organisations and colleagues. Is able to supervise staff, coordinate operations and work effectively on their own initiative. Is committed to promoting inclusion, community participation and continuous improvement.
