Job Description

Kensworth CE Academy is looking for a dedicated Midday Supervisor to join our friendly lunch team. In this role, you will help our pupils aged 4 to 11 develop healthy eating habits, practice good manners, and engage in safe, active play. Your Core Responsibilities: Supervise children in the dining hall, assisting them with opening packaging, using cutlery, and maintaining a clean environment. Lead and encourage playground games , ensuring all children are included, active, and safe. Manage pupil behaviour positively in line with the school's behaviour policy. Attend to accidents and administer basic first aid (training will be provided). Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other supervisors to ensure a smooth transition between morning lessons and afternoon registration. What We Are Looking For: A patient, kind, and approachable manner with young children. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. A proactive attitude toward children's safety and well-being. Flexibility and a good sense of humour. Previous experience working with children is desirable, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important. What We Offer: A supportive, welcoming, and inclusive school community.
