Sports Lettings Assistant- Robert Barclay Academy Casual contract Hourly Rate: Under 21’s £10.85 + Holiday Pay Over 21’s £12.71 + Holiday Pay Typical Shifts: Monday to Friday 6.00pm to 9.15pm (dependant on bookings) Saturday and Sunday 9.15am to 1pm & 1pm to 6pm (dependant on bookings) Start Date: November 2026 We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient colleague to support and assist the Site Manager in providing excellent service to the outside hires for the school facilities. To be responsible for keys and alarm codes, to be able to unlock and lock the Sports Centre correctly. To ensure safety checks are carried out. e.g. check fire doors are not obstructed. Check changing rooms, toilets and main hall are clean and if necessary clean them to the expected standard. Ensure that hirers have the correct equipment and footwear for the letting. Also ensure that the equipment is returned and goals replaced at the side of the pitch, in the same condition as at the beginning of the booking. Liaise with Site Manager regarding any issues, damages or repairs. Ensuring Hirers do not run overtime, so the next booking is not affected. Liaise with hirers and potential new lettings Carry out the correct evacuation procedure in the event of an emergency.
