HR and Payroll Officer – Oracle Fusion £300 per day | 3-Month Contract | Hybrid Working | Potential Extension A large public sector organisation is seeking an experienced HR and Payroll Officer with Oracle Fusion experience to join its HR Operations team on an initial 3-month contract. This role will play a key part in ensuring the effective operation of the organisation's Oracle Fusion HCM system, supporting users across the business, investigating system issues, testing changes and enhancements, and escalating identified problems to management and relevant system stakeholders. The successful candidate will combine strong HR systems knowledge with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills. The Role As the HR and Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of Oracle Fusion HCM, ensuring data is processed accurately and systems are functioning effectively. Key responsibilities will include: Monitoring and maintaining Oracle Fusion HCM functionality Investigating, diagnosing and resolving HR systems issues and user queries Identifying system defects, risks and process inefficiencies and reporting findings to management Supporting system testing, upgrades, patches and configuration changes Providing expert advice and guidance on HR processes, employment regulations and system functionality Producing reports, management information and data analysis to support decision-making Training and supporting managers and end users on Oracle Fusion processes and functionality Coordinating system update testing and documenting outcomes Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements Supporting restructures, workforce changes and HR transactional processes through system administration Working closely with HR, Payroll, ICT and external suppliers to ensure service continuity About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience working with Oracle Fusion HCM in a support, administration or specialist capacity Strong understanding of HR systems, data processing and workforce administration Experience undertaking system testing, issue identification and troubleshooting Ability to analyse complex HR data and identify trends, risks and anomalies Experience producing reports and presenting findings to stakeholders and senior management Knowledge of HR policies, terms and conditions of employment and employment legislation If you have Oracle Fusion HCM experience and are looking for your next interim opportunity within a large and complex organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
