About the Role We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of English to join our successful English team on a full-time, fixed-term basis from 2nd December to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will be passionate about English and committed to helping students develop a love of reading, writing and language. They will be able to deliver engaging and ambitious lessons that inspire students to achieve their very best whilst contributing positively to a department that plays a central role in the life of the school. This role would be suitable for both experienced teachers and those at an earlier stage in their career who are looking to develop within a supportive, ambitious and improvement-focused school.
