Salary: Grade -S3, Fringe, scale points 20.1 – 24.1, depending on experience.  Actual: £22,137.77 - £24,321.63 (FTE: £28,637 - £31,462) Location: St Dominic’s School, Hambledon, Nr Godalming, Surrey, GU8 4DX Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 16:00pm  with 1 hour (unpaid) lunch break, term-time only (39 weeks) St Dominic’s School is a highly regarded special school in Surrey, set within 56 acres of serene, wooded grounds offering plenty of space for recreational activities. We are seeking to hire a skilled and knowledgeable Food Technician to provide crucial support in the preparation and maintenance of resources for lessons. You will assist teachers and students, ensuring that all equipment is ready for use, contributing to a seamless learning environment within the Food Technology department. Your day-to-day assistance will be crucial in providing the help and encouragement students need to thrive in a supportive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: • Support the Teacher in the Food Technology Department and, if required, in other areas of the school where food and cooking are taught or in areas where there is particular focus on functional skills. • Support for pupils and students • Administration and Management of Resources • Preparation of materials and equipment for Food Technology lessons. • Maintain Food Technology equipment, areas and services in good order.
