Site Supervisor - Shopfitting Location: City of London - site-based Salary/Rate: 250- 280 a day (DOE) Hours: 7am - 5pm + weekends as required Start Date: Mid-October 2026 The Opportunity A well-established shopfitting contractor in the building and construction industry is looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor for upcoming contracts starting mid-October, running for 6 to 7 weeks. You will be spending your time supervising the site but be prepared on the rare occasion to be on the tools if required. You'll typically be managing a team of around 5, plus electrical and HVAC trades, working in high-end London department stores. These are live retail environments where the end client has very specific requirements, so confidence in dealing with demanding clients is key. Varied, hands-on role combining supervision and trade work. Opportunity to build a relationship with an established shopfitting contractor. Key Responsibilities Supervise a site team of around 5, plus electrical and HVAC trades. Act as the main on-site point of contact for the end client. Ensure work meets the client's specific requirements and high finish standards. This would include meeting the client logistical requirements. Maintain site health & safety in live retail environments. Coordinate trades and materials to keep works on programme. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for an experienced Foreman or Site Supervisor with a strong shopfitting background who is happy to work on the tools if required. You'll ideally have: Proven shopfitting experience (essential). SMSTS and First Aid certificates (essential). Experience supervising different trades teams.
