Buyer (Construction) 35,000 - 40,000 + 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Progression + Training + Company Benefits Haverfordwest Are you a Buyer or Purchasing professional with experience within the construction industry, looking to join an established business where you will play a key role supporting procurement across a varied portfolio of construction projects? Do you have experience raising and managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and site teams, and maintaining accurate procurement records, looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday position within a busy and collaborative purchasing department? The company are an established construction company delivering a range of construction projects, with procurement playing an integral role in ensuring site teams receive the materials and products required to deliver projects efficiently. You will join a busy procurement department responsible for supporting projects across the business, working closely with Site Managers, suppliers and internal management to coordinate purchasing requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction Buyer to take ownership of purchasing requirements across multiple projects, with responsibility for everything from processing site requisitions to raising purchase orders. The Role: Process purchasing requisitions received from Site Managers and convert these into accurate purchase orders Develop and maintain an effective system for monitoring all open purchase orders Track orders through to fulfilment and ensure relevant documentation is accurately maintained Produce weekly purchase order reports for management, highlighting supplier invoice variations Liaise closely with site teams to ensure deliveries correspond with purchase orders Identify and report back-ordered, delayed or missing materials and products The Person: Previous purchasing / procurement experience Background in construction Reference Number: BBBH27613 We are an equ
