The business has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality products and solutions across a wide range of commercial construction projects throughout the UK. With a strong existing customer base, an experienced team and continued growth, they are now looking to invest in a Trainee Estimator to join their established estimating department. This represents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within construction estimating, with training and support provided by an experienced team. The Role As a Trainee Estimator, you will work alongside an established team responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive quotations for customer enquiries. You will learn how to interpret architectural drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities (BoQs), understand individual project requirements and produce quotations that accurately reflect the customer's needs. The role will involve: Producing quotations from architectural drawings, specifications and BoQs Preparing new, revised and copy quotations across projects of varying values Learning how to interpret technical and commercial project requirements Ensuring quotations are accurate and delivered within agreed deadlines Liaising directly with customers to clarify project requirements Working closely with Sales, CAD, Customer Service and other internal departments Providing quotation follow-up and support to the Sales team Managing multiple enquiries and priorities simultaneously Delivering an excellent level of service to both customers and internal teams Supporting the wider estimating department as required About You This is a t
