Role Overview As an Operations Engineering intern, you may join a team working in project management, change management, planning, infrastructure, reliability maintenance engineering, controls or another engineering discipline. The internship centres on a project with measurable operational impact. Key Responsibilities Design, improve and innovate fulfilment infrastructure across a large supply-chain network. Support small- to medium-scale automation projects involving sortation equipment, conveyors, packaging lines or robotic work cells. Help plan, install and commission new equipment and processes with global teams. Improve monitoring and visualisation of material-handling equipment metrics for internal customers. Contribute to technical training or process improvements that strengthen site capability. Internship Experience Interns work alongside engineers on live projects, analyse equipment data, support commissioning activity and collaborate with stakeholders at different levels. The placement is full time, 40 hours per week, begins in the second quarter of 2027 and lasts 12 months. Basic Qualifications Final- or penultimate-year student working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial or Software Engineering, or another STEM subject. Available to commit to a full-time 12-month internship beginning in Q2 2027. Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including pivot tables, macros, lookups, VBA or data links. English language ability at C1 level or above. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit or BIM 360. Understanding of ISO 13849 or IEC 62061.
