As a Graduate Public Health Engineer, you'll help deliver the essential water and drainage systems that underpin hospitals, schools, workplaces, transport hubs, residential developments, and critical infrastructure across the world. The Opportunity As a Graduate Public Health Engineer, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of water and drainage systems that help buildings operate safely, efficiently, and sustainably. Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you'll gain exposure to projects across a range of sectors and develop a strong foundation in public health engineering principles. Through hands-on project experience, mentoring, and structured development opportunities, you'll build the skills and confidence needed to grow your career and make a meaningful impact. What You'll Do As part of our Building Services team, you will: Support the design of public health engineering systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. Assist with the design and specification of domestic water services, hot and cold-water systems, sanitary drainage, rainwater harvesting, greywater reuse, foul and surface water drainage systems. Contribute to water conservation and sustainability strategies that help clients reduce environmental impact and improve resource efficiency. Support calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and design documentation. Use digital design tools and BIM technologies to develop coordinated engineering solutions. Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, sustainability, and digital engineering specialists. Participate in project meetings, site visits, surveys, and inspections to develop practical engineering experience. Help identify innovative solutions that improve system performance, resilience, and environmental outcomes. Assist in ensuring designs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practice guidance.
