Teacher of Humanities Full Time | Permanent MPS/UPS Required for January 2027 Join Our Team Bridlington School is seeking an enthusiastic, talented and committed Teacher of Humanities to join our successful and supportive team. We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who can inspire curiosity about the world and foster a love of learning across the humanities subjects. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher, whether early in their career or an experienced practitioner, to teach across the humanities curriculum and contribute to the continued development of the department. The Role You will: Teach Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4. Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students and secure excellent progress. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed. Assess, monitor and support student achievement effectively. Contribute to the development of curriculum resources and enrichment opportunities. Play an active role in the wider life of the school. We welcome applications from teachers with a specialism in History, Geography, Religious Studies or a related humanities discipline. About You You will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS before taking up post. Have a degree in History, Geography, Religious Studies or a related discipline. Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Be committed to inclusion and ensuring all students can thrive. Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
