We are looking for an outstanding Catering Assistant who's passionate about food and wants to make a difference. You'll be working 24 hours a week, working from 8.30am to 4pm at Tabley House Nursing Home , creating an excellent experience for the people in The rota includes weekend working plus 1 day during the week. Tabley House Nursing Home is located in the beautiful Cheshire countryside in acres of parklands. The service is set within a stunning 18th century country house. It's difficult to put into words the care and support offered at Tabley House. There's nowhere quite like Tabley House Nursing Home. Your Day-to-Day... Assist the team in the providing balanced, appetising meals Perform basic food preparation, cooking tasks & other kitchen duties Wash utensils, dishes & make sure they are stored appropriately Sort, store & distribute ingredients, check deliveries and assist with stock ordering Maintain personal hygiene and ensure the kitchen is clean & hygienic Handle, maintain & store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations You are... Passionate about catering, preferably with experience within a care setting Enthusiastic, keen to learn and an active team member Polite & professional, with a positive attitude at all times An excellent communicator who can liaise with people at all levels Able to work on your own initiative & under supervision Diligent & take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness Why Cygnet?
