After School Nanny

£18–25/hr gross | After-School Nanny | Belsize Park/Hampstead | 20-25 Guaranteed Hours | Monday–Friday | ASAP start Friendly family based in Belsize Park, close to the Underground, is looking for a warm, energetic and reliable after-school nanny to join us on a long-term basis. We have three children: two boys aged 5 and 3, and a baby. The main focus of the role is looking after the two older children after school and nursery. The baby is usually with a parent during after-school hours or sleeping, although some light supervision may occasionally be needed. Role details Monday–Friday Core hours: 2:30pm–6:30pm 20-25 guaranteed hours per week £18–25 per hour gross, depending on experience Start date: ASAP / October 2026 Long-term, permanent, live-out position Based in Belsize Park School/nursery is approximately a 10-minute walk from home School and nursery pick-ups Playing with the children at home Taking them to a nearby playground or for a walk Serving meals that have already been prepared No cooking required No driving required Light supervision of the baby when needed Child-related housekeeping only - tidying toys after play, keeping children's areas organised and putting children's clothes into the washing machine No heavy cleaning No additional hours required during school holidays Parents are usually at home during these hours, although occasionally one or both may be out. We are looking for someone who is: Warm, kind and genuinely enjoys being around children Energetic and happy to play and spend time outdoors Reliable and punctual Responsible and attentive Proactive and comfortable helping with the normal routine of a busy family Enhanced DBS preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
