Qualifications - Qualified Teacher status - Evidence of continuous
professional development Experience - Able to demonstrate outstanding teaching and excellent progress for
all children of all abilities - Evidence of
setting, implementing and evaluating action plans - Proven ability to manage behaviour both within
class and throughout the school. - Experience
of teaching in Key Stage One/EYFS (desirable) Knowledge & Understanding -Knowledge and understanding of the
breadth of subjects across the National Curriculum - Confident use of ICT communication skills - Demonstrable
knowledge of assessment techniques to maximise pupil outcomes for all abilities - Knowledge
and understanding of data analysis and the ability to use data to set targets
for individual pupil progress - Confident in meeting the learning needs of a
wide range of abilities, including children with SEND - Up to date knowledge & understanding of
the current national education agenda - Understanding of relevant
equal opportunities, health and safety and safeguarding guidance and
legislations, and with commitment to keeping up to date with changes in
legislation affecting schools. - Knowledge
of the regulations around safeguarding and how to address any issues that might
arise - Knowledge
of good practice guidelines to form and maintain appropriate relationships and
personal boundaries with children and young people - Understanding of how children & adults learn
and effectively apply their learning Communication Skills - The ability to communicate clearly and take into account, where
appropriate, the views of others - Effectively communicate orally and in writing to a range of audiences - Negotiate and consult - Experience of communicating effectively with
parents and carers - Experience of effective communication with
teaching assistants Self-Management Skills - Ability to plan time and organise work effectively - This will include an ability to: - Prioritise and manage time - Work under pressure and meet deadlines - Be self motivating and set personal goals School Ethos - Capacity to influence others - Evidence of excellent working relationships with colleagues - An ability & commitment to develop and maintain the ethos of the
school - Ability to support and help develop a vision for high quality
education that promotes development of life skills as well as fulfilling
academic potential - Be fully committed to ensuring a wholly inclusive setting - Ability to ensure that the school atmosphere is
welcoming and that parents are encouraged to take an active part in the life of
