This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor where you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of major infrastructure projects while benefiting from a hybrid working pattern. Join a Growing Highways Team My client is a respected contractor delivering a range of highways and infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Highways Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract knowledge and highways experience to support the successful commercial delivery of their projects. What You Will Be Doing As a Highways Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of highways projects from inception through to final account. You will be doing the following: Managing project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Administering and managing NEC contracts. Preparing, reviewing and negotiating subcontractor packages. Producing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. Identifying, pricing and managing compensation events and variations. Monitoring project performance and reporting on commercial progress. Working closely with project managers, engineers and clients to ensure successful project delivery. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams. What You'll Need To be considered for this Highways Quantity Surveyor position, you will have: Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the highways sector. Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts (essential). Experience managing commercial aspects of civil engineering or highways pr
