Project Quantity Surveyor - Structural Refurbishment Location: Zone 1, London Salary: £65,000-£80,000 + Package Sector: Structural Alterations / Refurbishment Project Quantity Surveyor - Central London A contractor is looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a Zone 1 scheme valued at up to £15m. The project involves structural modification, underpinning, construction of a new core and a vertical extension to the rear block. It is an opportunity for a QS who wants ownership of a technically interesting project, with support from the Divisional Commercial Director. The Role Key responsibilities will include: Taking day-to-day commercial responsibility for the project Procuring and managing subcontract packages Managing valuations, variations and change control Producing cost reports, forecasts and cash flow updates Managing subcontractor payments and final accounts Working with the site and design teams to manage commercial risk What They Are Looking For A QS who has led the commercial delivery of a project or is ready to step into that responsibility Main contractor experience on refurbishment, structural alterations or other complex building projects Strong procurement, subcontract management and cost reporting skills A practical, organised approach and confidence dealing with project stakeholders Salary & Package £65,000-£80,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus package.
