Cherry Picker Driver (IPAF / CPCS) Congleton, Cheshire (CW12) £23.00 per hour 1 Week Contract Start Date: 12th October 2026 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cherry Picker Driver / MEWP Operator to join a site in Congleton (CW12) on behalf of a reputable construction contractor. This is a short-term contract offering a competitive hourly rate and immediate start. The Role As a Cherry Picker Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a cherry picker (MEWP) and supporting site activities as directed by the site management team. Duties Include: Operating a Cherry Picker / MEWP safely and efficiently Carrying out daily machine checks Working closely with site teams to support ongoing construction works Adhering to all site health and safety procedures Reporting any defects or safety concerns to site management Assisting with general site duties when required Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: Valid IPAF Operator Licence and/or CPCS/NPORS Card for relevant access equipment Valid CSCS Card Previous experience operating Cherry Pickers on construction sites Good understanding of site health and safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and punctual attitude Job Details Location: Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 2PG Start Date: 12th October 2026 Duration: 1 Week Hours: 07:30am - 4:30pm Rate: £23.00 per hour Sector: Construction & Property Client: Built by Mode Ltd PPE Required Hard Hat High Visibility Vest/Jacket Safety Footwear Interested candidates should apply today with an up-to-date CV and proof of relevant certifications.
