Job Description
We require an experienced 1 - 1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to work with a named pupil in KS2 on a 1 – 1 basis, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.15pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunchbreak. The post is attached to a named pupil and is a fixed term position until the pupil leaves the school (expected to be July 2029). The grade for this post is Grade 5, point 7 (£13.48 per hour). You will ideally have experience of working with children with disabilities or special educational needs, particularly emotional and behavioural difficulties, moderate and severe learning difficulties and speech and language communication difficulties. You must have empathy with and understanding of children of primary school age. You will work under the direct supervision of a teacher to provide support for teaching and learning.
