The Timetabling and Awarding team are looking to recruit Digital Examinations Invigilators for the examination period at Brunel University London DIGITAL EXAMINATIONS INVIGILATOR VACANCIES £12.71 per hour Description of the job includes: To provide invigilation during the University’s examination periods. Ad-hoc invigilation may be required during term time 2026-2027 Exam Dates : 11 th – 22 nd January 2027 4 th – 28 th May 2027 16 th - 20 th August 2027 Applicants must be available to work for three or more days per week (minimum 21 hours) during examination periods Applicants must also be available for an on-site (Brunel University Campus) interview between Monday 2 nd to Wednesday 4 th November 2026. To start and finish examinations, according to the guidelines and announcement scripts, and including supervision of candidate arrival and departure To ensure examinations are conducted according to the guidelines and to identify potential cases of malpractice To support both paper-based and digital in-person examinations on campus. Skills required include: Need to demonstrate relevant professional experience, either within education or more generally. Retired individuals are welcome to apply; students are not normally considered and are required to declare their student status on the application form. Reliability, including self- and time-management skills, and proactivity Demonstrably good organisational and administrative skills, and accuracy Good communication skills Comfortable working with computers in order to interact with and assist students taking digital examinations. Training will be provided. Role requires long periods of standing and walking. This post is not suitable for current Brunel Students.
