As a Volunteer Occupational Health Adviser, you will provide expert advice and guidance on occupational health matters, helping ensure that our volunteers can undertake their roles safely and effectively. Your professional knowledge will directly contribute to creating a positive and supportive volunteering environment while helping the charity meet its occupational health responsibilities. What you'll be doing Providing occupational health advice on fitness for role, workplace adjustments and health surveillance. Supporting managers with occupational health referrals and interpreting reports. Advising on health risk assessments for operational and event-based volunteering roles. Helping develop and review occupational health policies and procedures. Providing guidance on managing health conditions within a volunteering environment. Attending meetings and preparing reports where required. Maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR requirements. About you We're looking for a registered healthcare professional with: A recognised Occupational Health qualification. Registration with a professional body such as the GMC, NMC or HCPC. Experience working within an occupational health setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Sound clinical judgement and the ability to provide practical, person-centred advice. High standards of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity. Experience within the charity, voluntary or emergency services sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
