NORFOLK TENNIS – TRUSTEE OPPORTUNITIES Norfolk Tennis is the county governing body for tennis and padel in Norfolk and a volunteer-led Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Charity No. 1203480). Working in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association, we support clubs, venues, coaches and players across the county and are looking to strengthen our Board of Trustees with expertise from East Anglia (Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk) or UK-based individuals. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to attend the Norfolk workplace as required. These roles offer the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of community tennis and padel across Norfolk, helping to ensure the sport remains accessible, inclusive and sustainable for future generations. Inclusion & Diversity Trustee Act as a liaison officier for inclusion and diversity activities across clubs/venues in Norfolk. The role, including periodic reporting to the Lawn Tennis Association, helps shape inclusive programmes and strengthen engagement with under-represented communities. Experience in EDI, disability sport, community engagement, education or inclusion would be valuable, but not essential. Governance & Charity Law Trustee Norfolk Tennis seeks a trustee with experience in charity law, governance, legal advisory or regulatory compliance. The role will help support the Board of Trustees on good governance, Charity Commission requirements, risk management, policies and governing documents, ensuring Norfolk Tennis continues to operate effectively and within its charitable objectives. Honorary Secretary Trustee The Honorary Secretary supports the effective governance of Norfolk Tennis CIO by coordinating key meetings, agendas, minutes, records and agreed actions. As a Trustee, they also contribute to the charity’s strategic direction, oversight and good governance alongside the wider Board. All voluntary roles with a manageable time commitment, primarily involving periodic online Trustee and Management Committee meetings and occasional input within your area of expertise. Tennis experience is not essential; we are looking for people with sound judgement, integrity, collaborative skills and an enthusiasm for making a positive contribution to community sport.
