PE Real Estate Investment Analyst, sector-agnostic, UK & European fund Well-capitalised, 25 yr track-record, Value-Add & Opportunistic deals About Our Client Our client is a specialist PE Real Estate investor with c.25 years track-record delivering Value-Add & Opportunistic returns across all asset classes including Commercial, Alternatives & Living, Land / Strat Land & Development. They are now in an exciting period of growth, and this is a newly created role as they ramp-up transaction activity in the UK & Europe for a €1.5bn fund. Job Description · The PE Real Estate Investment Analyst will be actively involved in all aspects of deals & execution, including underwriting, negotiating third party financings, deal structuring and feeding into strategic asset management initiatives. · Support the Investment Director and team in screening and analysing new investment opportunities, financial analysis and excel modelling, managing advisors and due diligence work streams. · Support the production of the investment committee materials and undertake quarterly reporting and assist with investment performance monitoring. · Work across all asset classes, evaluating opportunities at the corporate and asset level, equity & debt positions and Op-Co businesses. The Successful Applicant The successful PE Real Estate Investment Analyst should have / be: · Solid academics in a STEM or Real Estate Degree (Built Environment / Real Estate / RE Finance or related highly desirable) · Prior exposure to analysing direct Real Estate deals in the UK (as a minimum) is a must. · Ideally prior experience as an Analyst within a real estate private equity firm, real estate investment bank or real estate investment /asset manager. · Demonstrable ability in advanced analytical excel work including creating, calculating and interpreting complex financial models across many different deal structures. · Ability to work and enjoy a fast-paced environment with significant deal flow. · Well-developed presentation and communication skills are essential. · Ability to work independently and with a tight transactional team or part of a selected project team.
