Job Description

Credit Controller Required on a permanent basis. Some flexibility with hybrid working available About Our Client This role is with a company in the retail industry based in Birmingham. Job Description Manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and minimise outstanding debts. Monitor credit limits and assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers. Prepare and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders. Resolve payment discrepancies and customer queries efficiently. Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities. Work closely with other departments to support financial processes. Produce regular reports on aged debt and credit performance. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Successful Applicant A successful Credit Controller should have: Experience in credit control or a similar accounting and finance role. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Confident communication skills for dealing with customers and internal teams. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
