Experienced Maternity Nanny required for a six-month, 24-hour position caring for a 6-month-old first baby, primarily based in Cairo with regular international travel. Job Summary A lovely family are looking for an experienced Maternity Nanny to take over from their current Maternity Nurse and provide a seamless transition into the next stage of their baby’s care and development. Baby is 6 months old and has a fantastic routine already in place, so the family would like someone who can confidently continue with this while focusing on the next developmental stages. The introduction of solids will be an important part of the role, alongside encouraging age-appropriate development through tummy time, music, play and plenty of interaction. The family are primarily based in Cairo but travel regularly, including time in France and London, so they need someone comfortable with an international lifestyle and able to provide consistency for baby wherever they are. They have a large extended family and enjoy spending time together, so a warm, inclusive and adaptable personality will suit them particularly well. Job Specification • Providing 24-hour care for a 6-month-old baby • Continuing baby’s well-established routine • Supporting the introduction of solids and weaning • Encouraging age-appropriate development and milestones • Planning stimulating activities including tummy time, music and play • Maintaining excellent attention to detail with all nursery duties • Providing consistency for baby during international travel • Working collaboratively with Mum and the wider family when together Candidate Specification • Excellent baby and Maternity Nanny experience • Strong knowledge of weaning and the introduction of solids • Excellent understanding of infant development and milestones • Calm, gentle, warm and nurturing • Proactive and helpful with a willing attitude • Respectful and comfortable working as part of a team • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail • Confident and experienced travelling internationally with families • Development-focused and genuinely engaged in supporting baby’s learning and progression Accommodation The Maternity Nanny will have her own bedroom and bathroom, with baby sleeping with her overnight.
