Freelance Finishing Foreman - Penrith

Your new company A well-established national housebuilder is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join an active new-build housing development in Penrith. With a busy programme of plot completions and customer handovers scheduled over the coming months, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong eye for detail and a proven background in delivering high-quality finishes on residential developments. Your new role As Finishing Foreman, you will be responsible for ensuring plots are completed to the highest standard ahead of handover. Working closely with the Site Manager and subcontractors, your duties will include: Managing and completing snagging lists across multiple plots Coordinating subcontractors to rectify defects and quality issues Carrying out quality inspections prior to customer handovers Managing ETVs (End of Tenancy Visits/Final Plot Checks) and ensuring properties are presented to company standards Driving programme deadlines and plot completion targets Maintaining high health & safety standards on site Supporting the site team with the successful delivery and handover of completed homes What you'll need to succeed Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman, Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager on new-build housing developments Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and customer care expectations Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused approach Experience managing snagging, plot inspections and handovers SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid preferred Ability to start immediately What you'll get in return Competitive freelance rate Immediate start available Long-term assignment running until Christmas Opportunity to work on a busy residential development with a leading housebuilder Weekly pay through Hays Recruitment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
