Sub Agent - Highways & Civil Engineering Salary: Up to £65,000 dependent on experience + excellent benefits Are you a Sub Agent with main contractor experience looking to take on technically interesting highways and civil engineering projects across the South? You will join an established civil engineering contractor with a strong pipeline of work across its Southern Region. Your new employer My client is an established UK civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure projects across the country. Due to continued success and a growing workload within the Southern Region, they are looking to appoint a Sub Agent to support the delivery of projects across Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and the surrounding area. What you will be doing As a Sub Agent, you will support the Site Agent and Project Manager with the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of civil engineering schemes. You will also have the opportunity to manage smaller construction contracts and take increasing responsibility as you develop. You will be: Managing site teams, operatives and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely and efficiently. Preparing method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans. Understanding tender allowances and monitoring contract costs against agreed budgets. Preparing, maintaining and monitoring programmes of work. Assessing, appointing and managing subcontractors.
