About the Role: The Curriculum Leader for Jewellery will play a key role in shaping an innovative and dynamic Jewellery curriculum. Working closely with the Deputy Head of School, you will drive creative innovation and strengthen progression pathways across the wider Visual Arts provision for adult learners. This role will be for a 6-month period, and will require an experienced Jewellery practitioner and educator with a strong commitment to experimentation, contemporary practice, and the continuous development of teaching and learning within Jewellery. About you You will be an experienced and enthusiastic jewellery practitioner and educator with strong contemporary subject knowledge and a relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent professional expertise. An experienced teacher, you will have a successful track record of delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of learner abilities, ideally within Further Education, Adult Education or Higher Education. You will combine specialist knowledge of jewellery practice with the ability to lead and develop an ambitious, inclusive and responsive curriculum. You will understand quality assurance and improvement, using learner performance and feedback to strengthen achievement, progression and the overall student experience. Being collaborative, organised, and confident, you will inspire learners and colleagues, support teaching teams and contribute strategically to curriculum growth. You will embrace digital technologies and innovative pedagogy while maintaining high professional standards and a strong commitment to equality, diversity, health and safety, Safeguarding and Prevent.
