Interim Quantity Surveyor Competitive Day Rate (DOE) Hybrid Working Long-Term Opportunity Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next interim challenge within the housing sector? We are working with a well-established organisation that is seeking a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a diverse programme of property investment and maintenance works. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team, with the added prospect of securing a permanent Lead Quantity Surveyor position in the future. The Opportunity Interim Quantity Surveyor position Competitive day rate, negotiable depending on experience Permanent equivalent salary of approximately 62,000 per annum Hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days per week in the office and/or attending site visits Opportunity to progress into a Lead Quantity Surveyor role on a permanent basis Key Responsibilities Commercial management of planned maintenance, capital investment and improvement projects Cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Managing contractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts Supporting procurement activities and contract administration Providing commercial advice to project and operational teams Ensuring value for money whilst maintaining quality and compliance standards Building strong relationships with contractors, consultants and key stakeholders About You We are keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors who have: Experience within housing, property services, construction or asset management environments Strong commercial and financial management skills Knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes Experience managing multiple projects and contractor relationships Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent) Interested?
