CDM / Health & Safety Consultant - Data Centres Blyth, North East £55,000 - £60,000 Permanent - Full-time - Site-based Search has been exclusively engaged by a specialist Health & Safety and CDM consultancy to recruit a CDM / Health & Safety Consultant for a major data centre programme in the North East. This is a long-term, site-based position that will see you embedded directly within the consultancy's client, supporting construction Health & Safety and CDM activities across two data centre facilities in Blyth. The sites are at different stages of development and fit-out, with significant civils, M&E and construction activity taking place. You'll work closely with project teams, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure Health & Safety and CDM requirements are effectively managed throughout the programme. What you will be doing Providing day-to-day construction Health & Safety and CDM support across the sites Carrying out regular site inspections and Health & Safety audits Supporting project teams in meeting their duties under the CDM Regulations Reviewing construction activities, risk controls and relevant Health & Safety documentation Working closely with contractors across civils, M&E and fit-out activities Attending project, contractor and Health & Safety meetings Identifying areas of risk or non-compliance and working collaboratively with teams to address them Supporting the wider CDM / Principal Designer function throughout different stages of the projects What you will need Experience within construction Health & Safety, CDM or a related role A strong practical understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015 Experience working with contractors and project teams within construction environments Confidence carrying out site inspections, audits and reviewing Health & Safety arrangements A relevant Health & Safety qualification, such as NEBOSH Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships wi
