Job Description
Embrace Multi Academy Trust is seeking an exceptionally organised, proactive and values-driven individual to work as Personal Assistant to the Trust Leader (CEO) and undertake the Compliance Officer role in our Central Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role at the heart of a collaborative, mission-focused trust of ten schools, comprising two secondary and eight primary academies, the majority of which are Church of England schools. At Embrace, our mission is clear: to ensure every child flourishes and experiences 'life in all its fullness', removing barriers, fostering joy and nurturing hope. Our Central Team works closely with our schools to make this possible, and this role will provide vital support to the Trust Leader while contributing to the effective operation, governance and assurance of the wider Trust. About the Role: This is a position of significant trust and responsibility. Working closely with the Trust Leader, you will provide high-level, confidential and proactive executive support, managing a complex and changing diary, coordinating meetings and communications, preparing high-quality documentation and ensuring priorities, decisions and actions are progressed effectively. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, anticipating what is needed and using sound judgement to determine when matters should be progressed, redirected or escalated. Alongside your executive support responsibilities, you will play an important role in supporting Trust-wide governance, compliance and assurance activity. Working with colleagues including the Governance Manager, you will help maintain accurate records and trackers, monitor policies and key deadlines, support governance administration and coordinate information required for assurance, audit and statutory processes. This role will appeal to an experienced Executive Assistant, PA or Senior Administrator who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys being one step ahead and takes pride in making things happen behind the scenes. You will need exceptional organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and, above all, the integrity and discretion to handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Experience within education, a Multi Academy Trust or the public sector, and experience supporting governance or compliance activity would be particularly valuable. You will join a Central Team known for its positivity, respect and collaborative approach, with the opportunity to work across the Trust and build relationships with senior leaders, trustees, governors, school colleagues and external partners. At Embrace, relationships, integrity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for someone who shares these values and will represent the Executive Office with warmth, professionalism and credibility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who: • Is exceptionally organised, proactive and able to anticipate needs and priorities, rather than simply respond to them. • Can exercise sound professional judgement and maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion. • Communicates confidently and professionally with senior leaders, trustees, governors, colleagues and external stakeholders. • Enjoys working autonomously, managing competing priorities and following actions through to completion. • Shares our commitment to inclusion, integrity, collaboration and helping children and young people flourish. About Embrace: Embrace Multi Academy Trust is a growing family of ten schools across Leicestershire, comprising two secondary and eight primary academies, the majority of which are Church of England schools. We are united by a shared vision to ensure that every child flourishes and experiences ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10). Our Central Team works in partnership with leaders, staff and governors across the Trust, providing the support, expertise and strategic direction that help our schools thrive. We believe the best outcomes are achieved when people work together, and we are proud of the collaborative culture that exists across our schools and central services. As a Church majority Trust, our values of respect, wisdom, integrity, collaboration, compassion and inclusivity underpin everything we do. We are committed to creating inclusive and caring environments where children and adults feel valued, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. While each of our schools has its own unique identity, we are connected by a shared commitment to excellence, ambition and service to our communities. As we continue to grow, we want to attract talented and dedicated people who share our vision and values. Joining Embrace means becoming part of a supportive and ambitious organisation where collaboration is valued, professional development is encouraged and every role contributes to making a difference to the lives of children and young people.
