Job Title: Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear Salary/Benefits: 27k - 38k + Training & Benefits Due to recently winning new contracts, our client is recruiting for a hardworking Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer, with a diverse skillset and flexible attitude. Applicants must be confident in completing the full range of ACOP L8 compliance duties, in addition to pre-commissioning cleans, water equipment servicing and minor remedial tasks. You will be joining a privately owned outfit, who have a growing presence across the UK. Ideally, we are seeking someone in the North East of England, however, our client can consider candidates from across the North of England, provided you are happy to travel. Salaries and benefits are competitive. Experience / Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience as a Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer Ideally will have industry-related training / qualifications Good working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG 274 and BSRIA guidelines Flexible to travel as per client needs Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills Experience working across a wide range of client sites The Role: Conducting a wide range of pre-planned and reactive ACOP L8 compliance tasks Showerhead descales Closed system sampling, testing and dosing Analysis of closed systems Tank cleans and disinfections Calorifier blowdowns TMV inspections and servicing Pre-commissioning cleans and flushing in line with BSRIA standards Servicing and repairs on water softeners, CLO2 dosing equipment Water sampling and temperature monitoring Prod
