Estimator Fareham (Onsite) Up to £55,000 Are you an ambitious Estimator looking for your next challenge, or an Electronics Engineer eager to transition into an Estimator role? This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional to develop their career as an Estimator within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. As an Estimator , you'll play a critical role in the quotation and bidding process, analysing customer requirements, reviewing technical documentation, and producing accurate cost estimates for complex electronic products and assemblies. This Estimator position offers the chance to work closely with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing teams while developing strong commercial expertise. The Role The successful Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed and competitive quotations, ensuring costs are accurately assessed and commercially viable. Working from complex technical documentation, the Estimator will evaluate material, labour, and production costs to support business growth and customer success. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret complex multi-level technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Produce accurate cost estimates for electronic assemblies and manufacturing projects Support the quotation process from initial enquiry through to final submission Calculate material, labour, tooling, and production costs Liaise with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production teams to gather costing information Maintain and update costing models, spreadsheets, and quotation tools Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Ensure all estimates are delivered accurately and within required timescales About You Experience as an Estimator , Costing Engineer, Quotations Engineer, or similar role within manufacturing or electronics Alternatively, an Electronics Engineer with exposure to costing, quotations, or commercial activities and a desire t
