Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Salary: 40,000 - 50,000+ (DOE & MRICS Status) Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh (Hybrid Working) Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established and growing cost management consultancy with offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh . Due to continued expansion and a strong pipeline of work, the business is looking to strengthen its team with an ambitious Quantity Surveyor capable of independently managing projects across a diverse portfolio. The consultancy delivers cost management services across a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, residential, public sector and community developments , with projects ranging from smaller schemes through to major developments exceeding 100 million . Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience within a Quantity Surveying / PQS consultancy environment Experience independently managing projects from pre-contract through to final account Strong knowledge of cost planning, procurement, tendering and contract administration Excellent client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills MRICS qualified desirable, although candidates working towards APC are strongly encouraged to apply Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits Strong commercial awareness with excellent organisational and reporting skills Stable employment history with a commitment to long-term career development Salary & Benefits Salary: 45,000 - 50,000+ (DOE & MRICS Status) Hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day home working following onboarding) Full RICS APC and membership sponsorship Support from two in-house APC Assessors Glasgow city centre parking
