We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant and Lunchtime Leader to join our friendly team. This rewarding role combines supporting children in the classroom with helping to create a positive, safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Support children's learning in class, in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. Help teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons. Encourage children's independence, confidence and resilience. Support children with a range of learning, behavioural and emotional needs. Contribute to the positive and nurturing environment of the school. As a Lunchtime Leader, you will: Lead the lunchtime team. Effectively deploy staff, share training needs with SLT and identify resource needs Supervise pupils during lunch and outdoor play. Promote positive behaviour and respectful relationships. Organise and encourage safe and enjoyable play activities. Support pupils in resolving minor friendship issues. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children throughout the lunchtime period. We Are Looking For Someone Who: Enjoys working with children and helping them succeed. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is patient, caring and reliable. Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families. Has high expectations of behaviour and conduct. Works well as part of a team but can also use initiative. Shares our commitment to safeguarding and inclusion. Previous experience working with children is desirable, though enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to learn are equally important.
