With a strong presence across the transport sector, they work on major rail, aviation and infrastructure schemes that shape the future of sustainable travel and connected communities.Their collaborative culture, technical excellence and commitment to innovation provide an environment where engineers can develop their careers whilst making a meaningful impact on major projects.Your new role Due to continued growth within the transportation sector, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Project Lead Engineer to join a specialist Building Engineering team.You will lead the delivery of complex rail and transport projects across a diverse portfolio, from early-stage feasibility through to construction and completion. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will provide technical leadership, coordinate project resources and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.Key responsibilities will include: Leading multidisciplinary design teams throughout the full project lifecycle. Managing the delivery of MEP engineering packages across major transportation projects. Overseeing design assurance and compliance with relevant rail and transportation standards. Acting as a technical advisor on electrical engineering matters where required. Managing project programmes, resources and design deliverables. Coordinating with internal disciplines, clients, contractors and external stakeholders. Supporting business development activities, bids and client relationship management. Identifying and mitigating project risks while maintaining programme, quality and budget objectives. Providing technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to engineering teams.
