Salary: £32,429 - £37,527 (pro rata) Hours: 13 hours per week, Monday to Friday Contract: Fixed Term Contract until approximately June 2027 Contract Type: All Year Round Location: Stamford Closing Date: 7th October 2026 Inspire the next generation of sport professionals and public service leaders through engaging teaching, real-world experiences and industry-focused learning. In this busy and exciting role, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Sport and Public Services programmes, helping learners develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to progress into employment, higher education or careers within the sport, fitness and public service sectors. Working as part of a supportive and ambitious curriculum team, you will contribute to the planning, development and delivery of an engaging curriculum that motivates students to achieve their full potential. You will create inspiring learning experiences, provide constructive feedback, monitor progress and support learners throughout their educational journey. You will also play a key role in course coordination, student recruitment, employer engagement and quality improvement activities, helping to ensure that programmes remain relevant, innovative and responsive to industry needs. Through your passion for your subject area and commitment to excellent teaching and learning, you will make a meaningful difference to student outcomes and aspirations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Sport and Public Services programmes Assess learner work and provide constructive developmental feedback Monitor learner progress and support positive achievement outcomes Develop schemes of work, learning materials and curriculum resources Deliver academic tutorials and learner support sessions Contribute to curriculum development and course coordination Support work experience opportunities and employer engagement activities Participate in student recruitment, interviews and marketing events Undertake assessment and internal quality assurance activities Promote the effective use of ILT within teaching and learning Embed English and maths skills into curriculum delivery Maintain accurate learner attendance, progress and assessment records What we're looking for: You will be an enthusiastic Sport and Public Services professional with recent industry experience and a passion for helping learners succeed. You will hold a relevant Sport and/or Public Services qualification and either possess a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards achieving one. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge learners from a wide range of backgrounds. You will be confident in delivering engaging lessons, promoting positive learner behaviour and using innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance learning outcomes. Experience within Further Education, course coordination, apprenticeships or quality assurance processes would be advantageous. Most importantly, you will be committed to developing confident, skilled and employable young people while bringing enthusiasm, industry knowledge and a positive, can-do attitude to everything you do.
