Job Description
What does this team do? Audit matters to everyone, even if you've never heard the word before. When a company shares its financial results, people need to know those numbers are accurate. That's where audit comes in. We check company financial reports independently, so the public, investors and businesses can trust what they're seeing. It's a job that protects people, and it genuinely makes a difference. Delivery of our audit work increasingly relies on the understanding of large datasets, complex models, and the reporting produced from them. Our Technology & Data team empowers our Audit & Assurance teams by providing the expertise to analyse, interpret and validate the data and models we receive from the businesses we audit. This enhances audit quality and efficiency across all industries and systems, transforming the future of audit. What skills and academic qualifications do I need? This immersive programme offers high-achieving university students the opportunity to apply their academic skills to real-world challenges. Candidates must be in the penultimate year of an undergraduate course, or going onto a Masters, you will also need to be on track for a 2:1 or higher degree classification in any discipline. We have identified 10 core skills that are essential to all of our roles in Early Careers.
