Job Description

What does this team do? Audit & Assurance matters to everyone, even if you've never heard of it before. When a company shares its financial results and business information, people need to know that the reporting is accurate. That's where Audit & Assurance comes in. We check company financial reports independently, so the public, investors and businesses can trust what they're seeing. It's a job that protects people, and it genuinely makes a difference. In rapidly-changing times, businesses need to be ready to face any challenges that come their way. This means they need to be more transparent with their reporting, in order to gain trust and confidence with the public. We provide independent assurance by assessing the risks and processes of an organisation, so they can make sound decisions and serve the public well. Our teams have skills and expertise across regulation, reporting, finance, controls, sustainability and AI, with a deep understanding of analytics. What skills and academic qualifications do I need? You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2027 for the Autumn 2027 intake. We have identified 10 core skills that are essential to all of our roles in Early Careers. On successful completion of the programme, you’ll secure a permanent position within one of these Assurance teams. Where will I work? Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships. All our workspaces are accessible.
