Graduate Project Manager Newport Working Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: up to £36,581 Contract: Permanent About the Role We are looking for a motivated and organised Graduate Project Manager to join a professional project delivery team in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to build a career in construction project management. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, you will gain practical experience across the full project lifecycle, supporting projects from inception through to completion. The successful candidate will support project planning, coordination, monitoring, reporting and stakeholder engagement, while developing their knowledge and experience across construction project delivery, procurement, contract administration and governance. Key Responsibilities Assist with the development and maintenance of project plans, programmes, budgets and resource schedules. Support the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including project briefs, RAID logs, delivery plans and progress reports. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and filing systems. Assist in coordinating project activities to ensure key milestones are achieved. Support Project Managers with the day-to-day delivery of construction projects. Monitor project progress and identify emerging risks, issues and delays, escalating these to senior colleagues where appropriate. Assist with tracking project budgets and expenditure. Support procurement activities, including obtaining quotations, preparing documentation and liaising with suppliers and contractors. Attend site meetings and project reviews as required. Build positive working relationships with internal teams, contractors, consultants and clients. Assist with preparing meeting agendas, minutes and action trackers.
