A new opportunity has arisen for a flexible and resourceful Careers Co-ordinator to join our team at Pyrland School, playing a crucial role in to provide high-quality careers information, advice, guidance, and operational support for students within Pyrland School in Taunton, in full compliance with current DfE statutory guidance, Provider Access Legislation (PAL), and the Gatsby Benchmarks. Job overview To collaborate closely with the Strategic Careers SLT link and PSHE Lead to embed, coordinate, and monitor the school's weekly careers tutor programme ('Futures Friday') across all key stages, t o administer and coordinate all aspects of work-related learning and workplace experiences, including Year 10 work experience week, Higher education visits, career events and work related talent academies. Job requirements GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively monitor usage and standards of equipment and facilities Knowledge of relevant school policies and codes of safe practice within the classroom Why join us?
