Location: London, UK Hours: Thursday to Monday, 6am–2pm, with flexibility for overtime as required Owen Reed is looking for an experienced Document Services Operator to join a Document Services team for a top law firm in London. Working Thursday to Monday, 6am–2pm, you will produce and amend high-quality documents, provide technical support and deliver exceptional client service. This opportunity would suit a proactive team player with strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail and previous word processing experience within a legal or financial services organisation. Key Responsibilities Revise, format, compare and cross-reference documents accurately and efficiently. Convert documents into Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, following the firm’s standards and best practices. Generate and update tables of contents, and create and run mail merges. Carry out defined terms checks and reformat documents using the firm’s tools and standards. Modify, compile and redact PDFs, and create forms, electronic closing binders and bookmarks in Adobe Acrobat. Create, revise and reformat PowerPoint presentations in line with the firm’s branding. Produce and amend organisational charts, flowcharts and timelines using Visio and PowerPoint. Reformat Excel spreadsheets, prepare them for printing, and work with basic formulas and charts. Provide technical support to clients, including software troubleshooting. Interpret detailed instructions, manage work requests and provide clear updates on progress. Take responsibility for developing your technical skills and maintaining high standards of work. Skills and Experience Previous experience as a word processor within a legal or financial services organisation is essential. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, OmniPage, Nuance Power PDF, Litera Compare and DocXtools. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach and commitment to exceptional customer service. A proactive, flexible and collaborative working style. A college degree or business certification is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered. Availability to work Thursday to Monday, 6am–2pm, with flexibility to undertake overtime when required.
